Congratulations to Ben and Valerie on their intimate church ceremony that took place in Hammonton, New Jersey at St. Joseph church- St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish. Surrounded by family and close friends, they had a beautiful ceremony honoring their marriage to one another.
This charming April wedding was an intimate celebration, centered around love and family. Even though it was a rainy chilly spring day outside, there was so much warmth filling the inside of the church. The day unfolded in the most tender, meaningful way- quietly, peacefully and full of heart.
The ceremony took place in a beautiful church- St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish in Hammonton, New Jersey. The church was filled with just close family and friends- a handful of loved ones gathered to witness the vows that were exchanged. As Valerie walked arm and arm with her father, down the aisle, her smile was radiant, as she was met with Ben, her soon to be husband. The ceremony was sweet and simple and just perfect!

This black and white image is one of my favorites from Ben and Valerie’s church ceremony wedding. I love that they are beaming with happiness and that we can see the excitement of their loved ones witnessing their absolute joy. Also, how adorable is the little girl in the foreground? I just adore this image!
Following the church ceremony, I had a few moments with Ben and Valerie for portraits outside of the church. It was a cold day and there was a little rain, but they were both amazing about it. The church grounds offered a picturesque setting for their photos. Their portraits were intimate, simple, and timeless… a theme for their wedding day. Valerie looked stunning in her fitted white gown and I just loved the way Ben looked at her with admiration.

Ben and Valerie’s wedding day was proof that you don’t need an elaborate event to mark a beautiful beginning. It was a day defined by simplicity, sincerity, and the deep connection between two people and their closest loved ones. It wasn’t about perfection but rather a genuine celebration of love surrounded by the support and warmth of those that matter the most.
I really enjoy photographing intimate wedding days, like this one. Where I can really focus on the couple and the small important moments that matter the most. It just makes me so happy! These photos captured the timeless intimacy of the day, the special commitment made, and the future full of promise between Ben and Valerie. It was, in every sense, a celebration of what truly matters.
