It’s about that time…graduation season is upon us!
I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing college graduation session at Rowan College, located in Glassboro, New Jersey. The campus, nestled amidst picturesque surroundings, provided the perfect backdrop for capturing this significant milestone in the graduates' lives.
These three girls, who are close friends, decided to do their session together, which I love the idea of. What’s better than having a photo session with your besties, celebrating a major milestone in life. They clearly had a ton of fun during the session (as you can see from most of the images)!

I absolutely love these images of the girls with the historical building in the background. Whether in color or black and white, they just give off a really neat feel to it. The architecture of the building, with the staircase and the pillars really just showcases the beauty of Rowan college campus.
The girls had a lot of fun ideas, like the one of them tossing their caps at the camera and also tossing their caps up in the air, simultaneously. Not only did they have fun with it, but it ended uo making for some really great candid moments.

Not only did we take lots of group photos, but we also got in some great individual portraits on the Rowan campus. Some more traditional photos with their cap and gown, and also some more casual, fun photos in their dresses. I love all of the variety that we were able to capture during the duration of their graduation session.
I also love how they decorated their caps as a reflection of their study as well as their personality. I don’t remember ever doing that back in my day, when I graduated college and I am not sure it was even a thing…but, I am loving that it is a trend now!

As the sun began to set, we wrapped up the session with a group photo of the girls, standing side by side with beaming smiles. The sense of camaraderie and shared accomplishment was evident in every frame, serving as a testament to the bonds forged during their time at Rowan College.
Of course, we had to get some shots of the celebrating with a little bubbly! These were probably some of the most fun shots of the entire session. And, I just love how the golden sun is illuminating them and just giving the best light for these photos.
Photographing this college graduation session at Rowan College in Glassboro, New Jersey was a truly rewarding experience. Capturing the joy, pride, and sense of achievement radiating from these girls was a reminder of the transformative power of education and also the special bond that they share with one another. I feel privileged to have been a part of this very special moment in their lives and to have captured these beautiful memories through the lens of my camera. Happy Graduation!
